At the beginning of the year the Board of Trustees decided to dedicate almost $100,000 over the next several years on school security. This past winter the district was able to install new cameras and door entry systems to allow for better security. The cameras and door entry security work in tandem to better identify who is entering our schools and when. The goal for next year is that students would have id cards that will enable them to enter the school during the school day without having to ring the doorbell at the front door. At this point our doors in the school and the modulars all have the entry security system.
